Serum Crashing Mac

I just tried Serum on my Mac and the same problem exists. Serum crashes while changing presets and takes Ableton down with it. It is not as extreme as on PC and only crashes after 4 - 8 preset changes on average. I am a new Splice user so maybe it could be a Splice issue? Hope this helps.
